At Known, we have the privilege of working with some of the best cultivators in the state of Michigan. These partnerships allow us to bring you a wide variety of exclusive terpenes we’re proud to stand behind. When paired with our precision hand-washing process, every jar we produce is crafted to meet a high standard—one that we aim to uphold consistently, building trust with every drop.

Alpha Buddz made waves by taking 1st place for Best Overall Rosin at the 2024 Zalypix. One standout from this collaboration is White Gummy Bear, which has quickly become a staple strain in the Known x Alpha Buddz lineup.
We hope this is just the beginning list of collaborative partners as there are absolutely some bucket-list cultivators we would absolutely love to work with in the future. I would say each of us from the Known team has at least one or two that comes to mind who we would love to collaborate with.
Pushing the bounds of quality and hype is the objective. Who out there is hot in the market while also cultivating exclusive strains just like we are? Bringing to life never before processed cultivars is especially fun. Not every cultivator processes and not every cultivar has been processed. This is where all of the fun and true value is stored.
While 90% of the market sources the same cuts, same genetics and sometimes even same phenos from the same cultivator, the market is left with a false sense of diversity. The market simply receives the same played-out genetics with a different logo slapped on the front. The worst part is most cultivators grow using the same mediums and nutrients which typically result in a mid-grade quality. Not bad, but also not very good or great either, resuting in a complete over staturation of repetitive strains at a boring quality. It is no wonder there is not a whole lot of brand loyalty going on across the majority of the market. A consumer can purchase the same or very similar product from 10 different brands, resulting in “who can get it to me the cheapest” in which there are no winners.
This is not our game. Our game is to bring you never before seen strains, grown purely organically, hand watered, hand harvested, hand washed and treated with love and respect throughout the entire process. I can promise you that maybe 5% or less of cultivators are following such methods. The rest are offering you the same thing the next man is competing on who can afford to lose the most money.
Separation is key, this is apart of dialing in that process and putting our due diligence to ensure we are only working with cultivators who also share our standards.
