Yellow Zushi is bred by TenCo with undisclosed genetics

One could only guess what it might be. Pertaining to flavors… it is dead on a yellow skittle, sweet, lemon skittle candy. Our team describes it as a yellow version of our Rainbow Belts #7.

Getting to know Yellow Zushi….

In 2024 the Known team was lucky enough to purchase the Yellow Zushi seed pack from pheno addicts via auction due to a team member having cancer and the funds proceeding to this cause. Out of this pack we were lucky enough to have 7 seeds pop. Of those seven, there was one clear winner… this was the #5. Other strains had a tad bit too much earthiness. The #5 though? That perfect, so good it is like that true artificial, lemon, yellow skittle. Absolutely phenomenal. She grow’s about exactly like our Rainbow Belts and has that exact taste in there. This leads us to believe, number one it is definitely a zkittles cross, but number two it has to have extremely similar genetics to Rainbow Belts. The obvious is we know that Z is in there somewhere…

This strain is an absolute staple in our library as well as a team favorite. Complimented by the most perfect Day-Time buzz. Whether you’re looking for an easy going weekend or need a little creative, motivational push for that project, Yellow Zushi will set you on the perfect trajectory.

What else makes it so special? I would first say good luck finding true Yellow Zushi genetics out there…. They are limited, few and far between. On top of that, Yellow Zushi is an overall extremely low yielder. The plant itself grows very short and bushy with much smaller nugs than some strains, so the fresh frozen yield is not insane to begin with. Further more she only yields around 2.3% to rosin…. Not ideal.. But once again what we believe separates us from everyone else is our willingness to run strains most would not consider “commercially viable.”
